Books & Accompanying Learning Resources

The books and related learning resources in this collection celebrate Indigenous Peoples in North America. These books cover a wide-range of subject matter from family relationships to stories about hope and resilience, and these activities provide an opportunity for all learners to increase their understanding and appreciation of the richness of Indigenous culture. Most of the creators featured in this collection are Indigenous. Some works of non-Indigenous authors and illustrators have also been included, as their work was made with meaningful cultural consultation in the spirit of learning and allyship.
