Ask students to examine the relationship between Shauzia and Mrs. Weera (or Shauzia and another character in Mud City). How do they connect and respond to each other? What do they think of each other? Does the relationship change? Have them express their ideas in an essay, graphic representation, exchange of letters, monologues, interviews or dramatic scene.
