Book Description
Dominic Bean’s life has been turned upside down. His scientist parents have left for a secret project in the Arctic, and Dominic and his younger sister, Del, have been sent to live with their aunt and uncle on a farm in rural New Hampshire. Feeling abandoned, struggling academically and targeted by a school bully, Dominic finds himself making poor choices and questioning everything around him.
As Dominic adjusts to farm life, he discovers clues suggesting that his parents’ work may be connected to an extraordinary scientific experiment involving woolly mammoths, climate change and Arctic permafrost.
